ALL OF OUR TUTORS HOLD A MASTERS OR PH.D. AND HAVE TEACHING EXPERIENCE

  • My daughter was failing pre-calculus 11 while excelling in all her other classes. She was upset and frustrated that she couldn't grasp the math concepts. After one tutoring session she said that she had learned more in 2 hours of tutoring than she had in 2 weeks of classes. After just one month of tutoring she has more confidence, her grades are up and she is a chapter ahead of her class. Her tutor takes the time to explain the concepts in a way that she can understand and answers all her questions thoroughly. She is very happy with her tutoring and I would highly recommend KPU tutoring for any student who is struggling with math.

  • Our students have greatly benefited from the KPU Advantage Tutoring and Mastering project at Frank Hurt. By using the learning system ALEKS they are able to have their tutoring and mastering sessions personally catered to their own needs. We have been fortunate to have 20 of our best math students enrolled in the mastering program on Friday afternoons. These students are excelling in Pre Calc 11 and 12.

  • In fact one of our students, Rabie Ali, mastered PreCalculus 12 with 98% in 12 days or 62 hours of work after beginning with an initial assessment of 32%. My students love the fact that the program is tailored to their needs and includes resources they can utilize like videos of lessons, textbook materials and a teacher in the room to answer questions. I will definitely be encouraging students to take advantage of this program–during the school year and in the summer.
