KPU Eagles Women's Soccer Coaching Staff

Head Coach: Julie King

WSOC HC Julie King 14/15

Coach King holds a degree and post-graduate degree in Coaching Science, a Provincial 'B' coaching licence, an English Football Association Level 2 license, and is completing a Canadian Soccer Association 'B' License.

Coach King is in her first year with the women's program and won the 2014 PACWEST women's soccer 'Coach of the Year' award, as chosen by her fellow PACWEST coaches. Coach King brings over 15 years of experience coaching women in high-performance programs at the club, provincial, and university level in Canada and overseas. She is also the technical director for women's soccer with the Fraser Valley Football Club.

Assistant Coach: Joan McEachern

WSOC AssistCoach JMcEachern 14/15

Coach McEachern holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computer Science, a Master of Arts in Economics, and a CFA designation. She is a former Canadian National team member, has been capped 32 times internationally, and in 2009 was inducted into the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame as a player. Coach McEachern is the founder of KPU women's soccer and has been an assistant coach with the program since it's inception in 2003.

Apprentice Coach: Brittany McNeill

WSOC App Coach Brittany McNeill 14/15

Coach McNeill holds a Bachelor of Arts, and is an alumna of KPU and the women's soccer program. She is a four-time SIRC-CCAA Academic All-Canadian, five-time PACWEST All-Star, and is in her second year as an assistant coach.

Goalkeeper Coach: Amelia Ng

KPU Eagles Logo Coach Ng is an alumna of the women's soccer program. She is a PACWEST, CCAA, and NWAA All-Star. She is in her third year as goalkeeper coach, currently pursuing a Canadian Soccer Association CSA 'B' License.
