I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Master’s Degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University. I joined the faculty of Economics at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in the fall of 1996. My teaching areas include first year Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Securities Analysis. In 2011 I completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program of study, and received my CFA Charter later that year.

I enjoy various outdoor activities (biking, hiking, snowshoeing), travel and cooking. My main passion is soccer having been involved in the game as a player and a coach. I played on the Canadian National Women’s Team from 1987 until 1995 cumulating my 33-cap career with a spot on the 1995 World Cup Team. I was the assistant coach for the Kwantlen Eagles women’s soccer team from 2003 to 2015.  In 2009 I was inducted into the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame.
