DESCRIPTION

The Certificate in Criminology is a 30-credit program offering students an introduction to criminology and other disciplines, and post-secondary training for careers in criminal justice agencies. On completion of the Certificate, students have the option of entering the Criminology Diploma program or the Associate of Arts in Criminology degree program, which in turn can ladder into the BA Major or Minor in Criminology or the BA Community Criminal Justice. Students who want to ensure that they do not have to make up additional course work should choose their optional Criminology courses carefully in consultation with the calendar requirements for the Diploma and Associate of Arts degree and BA programs.
