All students who successfully complete or are about to complete their program of study between June 1, 2002 and May 31, 2003 are encouraged to attend their Convocation Ceremony. Final confirmation and permission to attend this ceremony is dependant on the student completing the following prior to March 31, 2003:

  • Submit your Graduation Credential Request Form, at least 6 weeks prior to the completion of your program (6 weeks allows for further evaluation and confirmation of your grades for graduation). (See Graduation Forms (PDF).
  • Once you have paid your Graduation Credential Request fee of $25.00, there is no additional fee to attend the Convocation Ceremony.
  • Submit your Convocation Ceremony and Regalia Application Form Deadline: March 31, 2003. (See Graduation Forms (PDF).
  • Ensure that you do not have any "Holds" (Accounting Fees, Library Fines, etc.).
If your account shows a hold at the time of the Convocation Ceremony, your credential will be withheld. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all fees and fines have been cleared.

If you have questions regarding your courses and have not applied for your credential, please make an appointment to see an Educational Advisor for further assistance. In addition, if you have completed courses at Outside Institutions and are requesting Transfer Credit, it is your responsibility to ensure that all documentation has been submitted and assessed 8 weeks prior to Convocation. The last day to do this for the 2003 Convocation Ceremony would be April 1, 2003. If you have any questions about the status of your Transfer Credit you may check your student records on-line or contact the Transfer Credit Evaluation Office at 604.599.2772.

Please note: Only students who are eligible to graduate will be sent information about the 2003 Convocation Ceremony. Graduands who will not be attending the Convocation Ceremony on June 3, 2003 will have their credentials mailed out by the end of June 2003. (Reminder: Please ensure that your address is kept up to date with the Registrar’s Office.) Graduates who have already received their credentials, but have misplaced them or require a replacement copy, can order a duplicate copy. The cost to replace your credential is $25.00.
