As part of Kwantlen's Faculty of Design, GDMA is located on the bustling Richmond Campus along with the Fashion, Interiors, and Foundations In Design programs.
GDMA proudly presents a series of monthly presentations by guest designers, communications experts and BC retail organizations, free of charge and open to everyone.
A four-year program, students go through GDMA in a cohort of about 20 classmates. With one day off and usually one class per day, part-time work is still possible.
Projects range from web and print publications to signage and packaging, focusing not only on the final design of products, but on the marketing and business behind it.
In the fourth year, students complete self-initiated major projects, that have ranged from retail to hospitality, entertainment to health, interactivity to social issues.
GDMA faculty members are working professionals, and with the combination of field trips and mentorships throughout the program, our grads work closely with industry.
Every year, our graduates work together to produce a degree show, marketing themselves to the industry with a grand exhibition and panel discussion events.
The dynamic and relevant curriculum provides our degree graduates with comprehensive portfolios, sought after by the industry.
