Applying to the Program/Portfolio Process

Because GDMA is a selective-entry program, successful applicants will have met KPU's general admission requirements as well as requirements specific to the GDMA program. Refer to the general admission requirements here.

Three Steps to Apply

  1. Application
To be accepted into the GDMA program, you must first apply to the university by submitting an Application for Admission online. Applications may be received from November 1 to March 1 each year. You are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
  1. Submit Required Documentation
After submitting an application for admission to KPU, you will receive an email with your log-in information for Online Self-Service. Log in to view your Admission Checklist which will show required documents and requirements which need to be submitted to the Office of the Registrar in order to complete your application. More information on the application process can be found at kpu.ca/admission/now-what.
  1. Selection Process
Applicants will participate in a selection process with GDMA faculty that includes a portfolio review and possibly an interview. See Portfolio & Interview Process page.
