CREATE AND ADAPT: Make Web Ready Books Using Pressbooks

Open Access Week
12:00 PM to 1:15 PM
Surrey
KPU Surrey Library - Second Floor Lab

Description:

Pressbooks is a popular web platform that is used to create or adapt open textbooks. Learn how to use the BCcampus hosted version to transform your documents into web ready books! Computers are provided for KPU employees, and you should have access to an online document that you are interested in converting to a web based book.

Researchers, educators, and anyone interested in openness in research are welcome to attend. This event is free of charge but registration is required.  Can't make it? We're offering this event at other campus locations and dates for your scheduling convenience. Select the 'Register here' button above for more details and to register.

This workshop is part of a series of events offered during the 10th annual International Open Access Week, October 23-29, 2017.  Open Access Week is "a global, community-driven week of action to open up access to research" and invites participants to focus on what open access enables (OAW website).
