Learning with ePortfolios Workshop

Mahara eportfolio
9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Surrey

Description:

Today’s learners need the ability to capture ideas, synthesize their learning across places and time and reflect on the personal and professional relevance of that learning. Eportfolios are playing an increasingly important role in this documentation of learning. This hands-on workshop will guide you through the development of your own eportfolio and through the process of introducing eportfolio learning to your students. Facilitator: Lesley McCannell, faculty member in Business.

This workshop is open to Faculty, Staff and Administrators who would like to start using eportfolios.

Jan. 27 - Surrey: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (Cedar 1040), DAY ONE will introduce the technology used for eportfolios—Mahara. Participants will develop a framework for their personal professional eportfolios and build the framework using Mahara.
