Kwantlen Capacity Development Camp (KCDC) enables Aboriginal youth in grades 5 to 8 to participate in a day-camp held at the Kwantlen Surrey Campus (12666 72 Avenue, Surrey).

The camps are designed to engage participants in educational activities that will increase their knowledge of health related careers. Lunches and snacks are included as well as, transportation by chartered bus to various out-trips. The program incorporates learning activities focusing on science, math, computer applications, and Traditional as well as "Western" approaches to health and wellness. The program focuses on promoting increased understanding and interest in health careers and post-secondary education.

A typical Camp day will run Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., involving 40 participants in each session. There are usually six Aboriginal Team Leaders, a Project Manager, as well as, an Elder (or Cultural Consultant) that helps to supervise the campers.
