Conference Description

The conference will cover a wide range of issues related to the teaching of psychology. It is designed for teachers of psychology at universities, colleges and high schools who are interested in enhancing their teaching skills, exchanging perspectives and exploring new ideas. The conference will include topics such as classroom demonstrations, new teaching methods, recent advances in specialized areas of experimental and clinical psychology, and issues of assessment. In addition to the invited talks, there will be oral presentations, posters, and workshops.

The conference this year will start Thursday morning (July 27) and end with a party on Saturday night (July 29). The party will be held on the 35th floor overlooking the ocean , mountains and sunset. There will also be a view of a major international fireworks display on English Bay at 10 pm.

Please note: Anyone who would like to bring a guest to the party may do so at an additional charge however they should contact Steve Charlton, the conference organizer, to determine availability. The 35th floor has a limited capacity so we will not be able to determine availability until closer to the start of the conference when we see the total number of conference attendees.
