BSc GRS (UBC), Research Associate
Caitlin has been a full-time with ISH since August 2010, during which time she has been engaged as a key researcher in the Surrey MESA Project and has been developing the SWBC and Yukon Food System Design and Planning Projects. She is passionate about sustainable agriculture, food security, and community development, and feels lucky to have found a workplace where she can engage meaningfully with all of them.
Caitlin graduated from the Global Resource Systems program at UBC in the spring of 2010 with a degree in food policy and food security. She has five years of experience working in this field with non-profit groups including three years of leadership and development at UBC's campus food security hub (Sprouts) and as a member of the Vancouver Food Policy Council's Food Secure Vancouver committee. She is currently a Board Member of The Vancouver Tool Library, as well as a proud student in Richmond Farm School's class of 2012.
