Science Literacy Week Science literacy week

Description: Science Literacy Week takes place across Canada September 17-23 and we're celebrating! The library will be offering two special programs during the week. On Sept. 18, we're bringing in an expert from Stats Canada to teach us how to find health data and information. On Sept. 19, we'll be offering a free screening of the eye-opening documentary, 'A Plastic Ocean' for KPU students and employees. Come join in! Visit our SciLit libguide for full details.

Oktoberfest Library Fundraiser Oktoberfest Fundraiser image

Time: 3:00pm-7:00pm

Location: Grassroots Cafe, Surrey Campus 

Description: What is better than a beer and a bratwurst? Supporting students through the Library Award for Creative Writing while you're at it! A $15 ticket will get you a beer, a bratwurst and eligibility for door prizes. We'll have meat and veggie options for the bratwursts. Bring your toonies too for the Toonie Toss! Find out more about door prizes and the rules of engagement for the toonie toss. 

Tickets are available now at any Library Service Counter at all KPU campuses.
