Kwantlen's graphic design grads kick off annual exposition with award-winning marketer Terry O'Reilly

Metro Vancouver, BC – (May 1, 2012) – Creative, strategic and incredibly talented, they're the next generation of graphic designers, and they've already caught the attention of one of the top marketers in the business. On Friday, May 25, Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Graphic Design for Marketing (GDMA) students welcome award-winning marketer and author Terry O'Reilly, who will speak on The Power of Storytelling at the GDMA 2012 Exposition.

O'Reilly has won hundreds of national and international awards for writing and directing. He hosts sold-out creative radio seminars, was named Canadian judge for the inaugural year of Radio at the Cannes Advertising Festival in France, and was named Radio Chairman for both the International Clio Awards in Miami, and the London International Advertising Awards. When he's not creating advertising, he's talking about it as the host of the award-winning CBC Radio One/Sirius Satellite radio show, "Under The Influence".

Kwantlen's GDMA Program is a four-year degree program that provides students with a balanced and unique education in graphic design, marketing, business, technology and liberal education. The GDMA 2012 Exposition also features the work of Kwantlen's 2012 graduates.

Hear O'Reilly speak about advertising in today's world and meet some of the brightest graphic designers who will enter the field. The GDMA 2012 Exposition will be held at VIFF's Vancity Theatre (1181 Seymour Street, Vancouver) @ 7pm on Friday, May 25. For more information, visit http://archive-gdma.ca/2012/terryoreilly/.
