Fri, Feb 13, 2015

Metro Vancouver…..The KPU Eagles department of athletics and recreation and men’s soccer head coach Srdjan Djekanović are pleased to announce the signing of Dylan Jordan, Surrey, BC to the Eagles for the 2015/16 PACWEST CCAA season, pending his acceptance to the university. An experienced university defender, Jordan will transfer to KPU after two successful seasons with the UFV Cascades (Canada West, CIS), which included a 2013 Canada West bronze medal and 2013 UFV Cascades men’s soccer ‘Rookie of the Year’ honours. He is also an alumni of Coastal FC (BCSPL) based out of South Surrey, BC.

“I am immensely excited that Dylan will be joining our KPU Soccer Program in September 2015,”stated Coach Djekanović, “We continue to build a successful program centered around young, hard working student-athletes whose skills, academics, and drive best reflect our University's mission and goals. We work hard in our program to create a positive team spirit, strong work ethic, and winning culture. Dylan’s experience, personality, and values will fit right in with our team.”

The 6’2 Surrey product was a force to reckon with in his 2013 rookie CIS year. He started in seven of 11 games played, racked up 655 minutes of playing time, had two assists, and a .600 shots on goal percentage. Jordan and the Cascades earned the first conference medal in the program’s history, as they defeated the UVic Vikes 2-1 in the bronze medal match at Dave Sidhoo Field at UBC.
