Villadiego has played a huge role in moving the KPU Eagles women’s basketball team into a PACWEST playoff position. The third-year guard has a strong basketball IQ, excellent leadership skills, and gives 110% to her team in practice and during games. Since her return to play in January Villadiego has racked up 73 points, 47 rebounds, and 43 assists in 12 games; she is currently ranked 3rd in the PACWEST in assists.

“Jessica has been a great contributor since she joined our team just before Christmas,” said Eagles assistant coach Jen Dudley, “She has been a dynamite defender and our engine on offense.  She has played nearly 40 minutes for us every game and been a consistent contributor on and off the court.”

Bradshaw, a fifth-year point guard has been an exceptional role model and leader for the young KPU team. A hard-working and tenacious fighter on the court, Bradshaw’s experience and maturity on the court has helped to guide the team during difficult games. His never-quit attitude has left a lasting mark on his teammates and has been admired by the coaching staff.

“James was very positive the whole season as he has maintained focus, stayed calm, and helped his teammates grow as individuals. He was one of the guys who never quit on us,” noted Eagles head coach Vladimir Nikić, “He works really hard, can play strong for 40 minutes, and never asks to be subbed off. He is a pleasure to coach and played very positive minutes this past weekend during two tough games on the Island.”
