Advisory Committee

The advisory committee is a group of community members who have a vested interest in KPU's Environmental Protection Technology (EPT) program. Members on the committee come from a variety of environmental areas including public and private sector companies.

The Advisory Committee is valuable because they ensure that graduates are suitably trained, properly educated and that program content is relevant to the environmental field. They provide advice concerning program objectives, entrance requirements, curriculum content and other relevant components of the program. They also assist in identifying suitable work placements for co-op and graduate students, and notify the program of any changes in the labour market.
