Meet Our Student Engagement Peers



Bachelor of Arts: Major in History, Minor in Psychology

Rebecca is a teaching assistant at an elementary school and a research assistant in the Social and Political Cognition Lab at KPU. Sharing her incredible experiences and helping new students at KPU is one of Rebecca's passions.



Bachelor of Science: Nursing  

Curtis hopes to pursue a nursing leadership role in a critical care setting. He is passionate about creating positive change. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, playing guitar, and watching movies.




Bachelor of Arts: Major in Psychology, Minor Counselling

Zainab is a third year student who recently joined the IMAGE psych lab. She also works at KPU bookstore. Zainab enjoys volunteering very much, and previously volunteered at Surrey Memorial Hospital, among other places. She has worked with young immigrants and refugees. Zainab plans to pursue graduate studies in Counselling.




Freda holds a Molecular Biology and Biochemistry degree and is currently involved at Langley Memorial Hospital as a Spiritual Care Volunteer. She enjoys working with people and gains inspiration from opportunities to encourage others to reach their full potential.



Bachelor of Business Administration: Accounting

Shi is a first-year BBA-Accounting student. She loves volunteering in her free time because she enjoys helping other people. She also loves to read and can spend a whole day reading if she finds a fantastic book.



Bachelor of Arts: Major in Creative Writing, Minor in English

Emma is a fourth year student at KPU. After she graduates from KPU, Emma hopes to become an ESL teacher and teach English both locally and abroad. In her spare time, Emma enjoys reading, drawing, and painting.



Bachelor of Design: Product Design

Patricia completed KPU's Foundations in Design program in 2011 and has continued on to pursue her Bachelor degree in Product Design. She recently completed a semester abroad in Melbourne, Australia and has lots of great stories to share.
