I try to instil in my students that what we learn here in class has a great relevance as what they will be doing in the workplace, as well as things they are connected to now. Iit's great to be able to link what we're learning in class to what they know now to what they're going to be doing in the future. KPU's great because the small class sizes allows interaction with the students themselves; they get to work with small teams. Also as an instructor, I can work one-on-one with them, and I also get to know them on the personal level.
