CONFERENCE THEME

The theme of this year's conference is Global/Local Relations of Power. The 21^st century has witnessed numerous expressions of popular mobilizations that have both reflected and prompted significant social, economic, political, and cultural transformations. These historic moments, actors, processes, and possibilities - their root causes, contexts, and consequences - are the focus of the 5^th Annual Sociology & Criminology Undergraduate Student Conference.
