Billeh Nickerson

Billeh Nickerson is the author of five books, including the City of Vancouver Book Award nominated Artificial Cherry. He’s also a former Editor at both Event and PRISM international, two of Canada most respected literary journals, and co-editor of the groundbreaking anthology Seminal: The Anthology of Canada’s Gay Male Poets.

He’s held writer-in-residences at the Berton House in Dawson City, Yukon; at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario; and at the University of the Fraser Valley. He has performed at, hosted and produced hundreds of events across Canada.

Currently, Billeh is on administrative leave from teaching and serving as Associate Dean in the Faculty of Arts.
