Associate of Arts Degree Asian Studies

 Within the framework of the Associate of Arts Degree, students must complete at least 60 credits with a minimum grade of C in each course and meet the following requirements:

1. Thirty-six credits in Arts, which shall include:

a. At least nine credits from the following Social Science courses (those marked with an * indicate courses that may carry differing degrees of Asian Studies content from semester to semester; students can check with the instructor listed in the timetable):

 b. At least nine credits from the following Humanities courses (those marked with an * indicate a special section and are not offered each semester). Up to three credits of East Asian languages can be used to partially satisfy this component:

c. At least 6 credits in an Asian language. This requirement can be satisfied by successful completion of at least 2 of the following courses or in the case of other Asian languages by arrangements with the Department of Modern Languages.

d. Up to twelve additional credits in Arts
