Fashion Marketing


Description

The Fashion Marketing Certificate introduces students to the apparel industry and the marketing and business activities that take place in buying, selling and promoting fashion and fashion-related products at the wholesale and retail levels.

The Fashion Marketing Certificate may be taken on its own or in conjunction with the Fashion Design and Technology Program.

The Program carries a minimum of 30 university college credits and may be taken on a part-time or full-time basis.

Admission Requirements

Applications to this program are accepted between November 1 and June 30 for entry the following September.

Attendance at an orientation and portfolio assessment are not required for this program.

  • Regular University College Admission requirements apply.
  • Applicants must provide proof of:
  • Minimum C+ in English 12 or,
  • Minimum C+ in Technical and Professional Communications 12 or,
  • LPI with a score of 25 on the Essay or,
  • 24 on the LPI Essay and 6 on the English Usage or,
  • Kwantlen English Placement Test with a recommendation to English 1100/1110/ CMNS 1140 or,
  • C in any one of the following Kwantlen courses ( ACPE 0091 or ABEE 0091 or PSPE 1091)/ ENGL 1099 1100 1110/
  • CRWR 1100 CMNS 1110 or,
  • Equivalent English or Communications course completed and transferred from another institution.
  • Proof of an English assessment must be presented with the application form. Applicants attending grade 12 must submit an interim English 12 grade by March 31.
