We offer courses at KPU Richmond and KPU Surrey during the late afternoons and evenings for Fall, Spring and Summer semesters, ensuring you have the freedom to continue working while learning.
This BBA program provides full-time and part-time intensive study options, allowing you to complete the program at your own pace and chart your own learning journey with fewer pre-requisites and a wide range of courses available year-long. The program also supports individual choice through Universal Design for Learning (UDL) features.
Our Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Entrepreneurial Leadership prepares you to fill a variety of management and leadership positions that drive small and medium-sized business growth. The program also prepares those interested in developing and managing their own business enterprise with the skills and knowledge to do so.
At the start of the program you'll focus on exploration and discovery to uncover your passions and ideas, then learn how to take that vision and find ways to make it unique. As you progress through your degree you'll learn how to make your ideas viable and finally how to set out and make it happen.
Practicum, learning partnerships with business, applied projects and assignments, and ongoing work experience provide you with real-life experience in industry. The BBA in Entrepreneurial Leadership is also offered with a Co-operative Education option.
Our students are creators and collaborators in their own education. From pioneering new ventures to guiding non-profit organizations, you're empowered to create change in the space most important to you.
Through extensive use of open educational resources (“OERs”) we’ve reduced or eliminated the cost of most textbooks, labs, and other expenses incurred by students to make this program as accessibly as possible.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Entrepreneurial Leadership offers you several work-integrated learning (WIL) options, including a practicum and a co-op option. WIL ensures you receive a well-rounded education and offers a host of other benefits to make sure you enter the workforce confident and job-ready.
A practicum offers you a WIL opportunity to apply the academic knowledge and analytical skills you learned in the classroom in a workplace environment. You'll work under the supervision of both the employer/host and a KPU supervisor, undertaking one or more projects, during the semester.
Co-operative Education gives you the opportunity to apply the skills gained during academic study in paid, practical work experience. Degree students can complete a minimum of three work terms while completing their degree. Work terms generally occur full-time in separate 4 month work semesters. Work semesters alternate with academic study.
Graduates of the Entrepreneurial Leadership program find careers in small and medium-sized business in a variety of sectors, including, but not limited to, manufacturing and distribution, consumer goods, services, financial services, heavy equipment and not-for-profit industry.
