Description:

The Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (a.k.a JET Programme) is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in working and living in Japan. Work for 1 or more years as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) or a Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) through government placing throughout Japan. Over 9000 Canadians have joined to get international work experience, learn about Japanese culture, and experience first hand what life in Japan is like, including many KPU Alumni.

Join us at the KPU Richmond Campus in the Wilson School of Design Building, Crit Space 1940, for an information session co-hosted by Seiko Roberts (KPU's Japanese Instructor, KPU Faculty of Arts) and Steve Chevalier (Education & Culture/JET Programme Coordinator from the Consulate General of Japan in Vancouver), and learn more about what the JET Programme has to offer you. You'll also get to hear from a past JET participant, to find out what the JET Programme meant for their own personal and professional development.

To learn more about the program before or after the information session, please visit: http://www.jetprogramme.org/index.html or email jet@jetprogramme.ca

Please contact joseph.watson-mackay@kpu.ca with any accessibility questions or accommodation requests.
