Whether you're preparing for first-year brewing science, are an avid homebrewer or simply like 'geeking out' over beer, this Brewing Chemistry Basics course will help you understand the chemical foundation of beer and the science behind it. 

KPU Brewing Chemistry Basics is a non-credit course that will run for four evening classes where participants will learn applicable brewing chemistry topics, such as concentrations, dilutions, acids and bases, pH scale and acid-base reactions, along with solving different problem sets. The course will be held at KPU's newest campus, Surrey Civic Plaza, which is conveniently located just steps from the Surrey Central Skytrain station.*
