Student Showcase: UN Sustainable Development Goals Open Pedagogy Fellowship

KPU Surrey
A2410

Description:

Last year KPU launched an open pedagogy fellowship program in which KPU faculty were paired with faculty from Montgomery College (Maryland, USA) to design course assignments that focused on the United Nations sustainable development goals (SDGs). This inter-institutional, inter-disciplinary, and international program led to the creation of 9 “renewable assignments” that will go on to have a larger audience, life, and impact than traditional course assignments. During this student showcase event, you will hear from participating faculty from KPU and (virtually) Montgomery College, along with students from both institutions. For more information about the program and to watch brief video summaries from the KPU faculty participants, visit: https://www.kpu.ca/open/un-sdg-fellowship

Note: The UN SDG Open Pedagogy Fellowship is being renewed for 2020 and the call for applications will be shared at the student showcase event.
