Profile

I recently switched careers to become a personal trainer. I made the right decision. I love helping others reach their fitness goals.

I have taught martial arts to people of all ages (4 to 72). As a personal trainer I have trained ages ranging from early 20's to late 50's.

My specialties are functionality, flexibility, fat loss, and all-round fitness. I like full body workouts, anaerobic activities, and NEVER SKIPPING LEG DAY. I try to keep workouts fun enough for you to like me but tough enough for you to hate me.

I became a personal trainer after my own experience working with a trainer. I wanted a career where I could combine my education in psychology with my love of fitness. As a trainer, I focus on a holistic perspective on health – mental, physical, and emotional. My goal is to help my clients break down any barriers towards fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.

I began my yoga career in 2015 which I truly loved. This eventually led me to my career in a fitness leadership program in 2018.

I have always had a passion for fitness, health and being active. I have found that this makes me feel mentally and physically strong.

I have over 1200+ hours teaching yoga and over 500+ hours in fitness such as personal training & small group training. I teach yoga as well as personal training / teaching
older adults.

I lead weight room orientations and have experience with injury rehabilitation. I have had experience with knee replacement rehab, as well as spinal and shoulder injuries.

Profile

My first yoga class was a wonderful experience in which practicing the asana brought me so much joy. As my passion for yoga grew over the years, I took a 200-hour Yoga Alliance® teacher-training certification from YYoga Vancouver.

I have been teaching yoga since 2009, and I am currently teaching at various Vancouver yoga studio and health center locations to a vast array of yogi cultures. I feel fortunate to have had so many opportunities to learn from yogis and to share in their energy and experience other forms of yoga.

I'm totally committed to sharing my passion and knowledge of yoga to inspire, awaken and transform people's lives.

I always bring a sense of humor and joyfulness to my students through my teaching, so that you can leave with a smile on my face and an open heart. It doesn't matter if you are not able to touch your toes! Come to have fun!! Namaste!
