Business Management-Diploma

Description

This Diploma Program prepares students for entry-level management positions. The two-year Business Management Diploma Program commences each September. It is possible to extend the completion time beyond two years. Some of the courses are offered in the evening and weekends.

The first year foundation courses provide students with an understanding of the basic elements of the skills and techniques required for effective management, business and the business environment.

In the second year, students take specialized courses in human resources, production/operations management, organizational behaviour, negotiations, business law, enterprise development, business planning and international business. The program emphasizes real world business applications.

Classes are exciting, practical and participatory. They include lecture, exercises, case studies, discussions, in-class assignments, projects, group work, role-play, structured, simulations, field trips and guest speakers.

Most of the courses in the diploma program are transferable to other Colleges and Universities as well as the Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Leadership Degree and the Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology Degree at Kwantlen.
