All vehicles must display a valid Parking Permit Hangtag, or have pre-paid half or full day parking pass. Vehicles are authorized to park in designated parking stalls only. Parking permit applications may be completed online from Impark’s secure site.

Parking Permits

Semester Reserved Parking Permit

Entitles you park at any campus in the designated reserved parking zones.

Note

Semester permits go on sale one month before the new semester and are valid until month-end of the semesters ending in April, August or December.

Semester Car Pool Permit

Entitles a registered group of at least two people to park at any campus in the designated reserved parking zone. The two people must arrive at the campus in the vehicle in order to utilize the carpool pass.

“Pay by Stall’ parking system is to continue to function even with snow. 1. The parker can clear off the stall number and input number at paystation as normal; or 2. The parker can proceed directly to the paystation, enter ‘Stall #1’ to get a receipt, to clearly display on vehicle dash. Parking lots will be cleared as soon as possible.

Disabled Parking

Persons with mobility impairment and displaying a valid Disabled Persons’ Parking (SPARC) permit may park in any stall, except ‘Visitor’, and payment is not required. Abuse of SPARC Permit regulations is covered under the Motor Vehicle Act.

Disabled Parking Permit

A Kwantlen University College Disabled Parking Temporary Permit is available to accommodate mobility impaired individuals in the interim as they await their SPARC Permit. The intent is to conform to the SPARC requirements. This includes requirement that the applicant has an impairment that will cause a risk to their health by walking greater than 100 meters. There should be a doctor's recommendation for temporary disabled parking. Permits are NOT to be photocopied. The Finance-Parking Office provide the permits to the Services for Students with Disabilities Office.

The Disabled Parking Temporary Permit is to be approved and issued only by the Services for Students with Disabilities office. The Temporary Permit is invalid unless expiry date and authorized name and signature are clearly displayed. If special parking arrangements are required to accommodate the individual please contact the campus Disability Advisor through the Counselling and Advising office.
