Canada World Youth
Canada World Youth (CWY) is a world leader in the development of international educational programs for youth aged 15 to 25.  They work with countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia, the Caribbean, and eastern Europe and have multiple different volunteer programs.

Projects Abroad
Projects Abroad sends volunteers abroad to over 20 countries to do over 150 different internships and service projects.  The most popular programs include: medical and nursing placements, business and journalism internships, as well as conservation, care and teaching projects.  Projects are available in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, China, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Fiji, Ghana, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Peru, Romania, Senegal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand and Togo.

Uniterra
Uniterra, one of Canada’s leading international voluntary programmes, is jointly operated by CECI and WUSC and is present in 13 countries.  Uniterra offers citizens and organizations the possibility to make a contribution towards the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

WUSC
From a university or college campus in Canada to a rural village in a developing country, there are many different ways you can volunteer your time, knowledge, energy and skills and help change the world through WUSC.

WUSC - Students Without Borders
Students Without Borders™ (SWB) is a WUSC initiative that offers university and college students exciting volunteer learning and internship opportunities in a developing country during an academic term.  SWB offers you the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of people living in disadvantaged communities in Africa, Asia or South America.  It can be a life-altering experience!

Operation Groundswell
Operation Groundswell is a non-profit organization that offers travel and community service experiences around the world. We aim to build a community of “backpacktivists” that are socially, environmentally and politically aware of their impact in the communities they travel to and live in.

AIESEC Canada Global Internship Program
The global internship in the most intense learning experience that AIESEC offers and is facilitated by their entire global network. Each year, they provide 5,500 students and recent graduates with the challenging opportunity to live and work in a foreign country in the areas of management, information technology, and development.

ESL Teacher Recruiter
ESL Teacher Recruiter hires for over 90 private elementary schools throughout South Korea. All of their schools are well established and reputable. They can find you a job virtually anywhere in the country. They have the best jobs, in the most desirable locations. Their schools offer great benefits.

Hamilton Recruitment
Hamilton Recruitment is a well-established, experienced and dynamic selection agency with a specialization in financial recruitment in offshore financial jurisdictions. They provide detailed job market information, comprehensive briefing on the companies and the specific roles involved, together with realistic assessments of career prospects. They will also make available all kinds of information on the Islands that will prove useful.

IDRC
IDRC is a Canadian Crown corporation that works in close collaboration with researchers from the developing world in their search for the means to build healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous societies. They offer some student job placements mostly in Ottawa. Application deadline is near the end of January.

United Nations Volunteering
The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme contributes to peace and development through volunteerism. UNV is inspired by the conviction that volunteerism can transform the pace and nature of development and by the idea that everyone can contribute their time and energy towards peace and development. Applicants must be over the age of 25.

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada has negotiated agreements with several countries and has partnered with various organizations to allow Canadians to easily obtain a temporary work permit and gain professional and personal experience abroad.
