Participating in the SRIG program was one of the best exposures I have had in the research world, which has immensely helped my growth and holistic development as a student and researcher. I have gained an understanding of artificial intelligence used in supply chains to reduce carbon emissions and the methodology for conducting research, collecting qualitative data, and analyzing it. This was the first time I had applied for a student innovation grant, and the process was smooth. I want to thank Kwantlen Polytechnic University, the SRIG program head, my mentor and colleague for working together and making this research work a reality.
