My experience with the Student Research and Innovation Grant (SRIG) pilot program has been truly life-changing, especially as an immigrant student. The financial support provided by SRIG has been instrumental in enabling me to explore various design options and navigate the complex world of material sourcing. As someone new to the country, I faced unique challenges in understanding local suppliers and their offerings. However, with the backing of SRIG, I was able to access resources, connect with experts, and find the necessary materials to bring my vision to reality. The program's support as an immigrant student has empowered me to pursue my passion for design and innovation without financial constraints.
