Working on this research project, “AI for Green Supply Chain and Logistics: Myth or Reality?” has been enlightening. As a student researcher alongside Marcelo Machado and Nichol Louis, I delved deep into the intersection of artificial intelligence and sustainability in supply chain management. Our findings shed light on the potential of AI to reduce carbon emissions while improving efficiency. We uncovered insights that challenge conventional notions through literature review, user cases, and interviews.
This experience has expanded my knowledge and fueled my passion for sustainable business practices in the supply chain. I am proud to have contributed to this important dialogue, and I look forward to seeing how our research influences future initiatives in the field.
