This course provides the student with an understanding of what eating disorders are caused by, how they manifest in the brain, how they are diagnosed, how they manifest in males and females, their epidemiology, and principles of prevention. These goals are accomplished using videos, written literature, a textbook, and formulative learning.
This course is a prerequisite to HLTH 9004.
