Study & Work Permit Information

Apply for your Study Permit

All international students are required by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to have a valid study permit while attending KPU. A study permit is a Canadian Immigration document that is issued to allow you to study in Canada for a specified amount of time. For more information on obtaining a study permit, please carefully review the following: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/index.asp

Extend your Study Permit

Students that are already studying in Canada and need an extension to their study permit must apply through CIC. Please see further information here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-extend.asp

Work While/After you Study

International students may wish to explore the opportunity of working either on- or off-campus while studying at KPU. Finding a part-time job can help with living expenses while going to school. International students that hold a valid permit and are studying full time are eligible to work on or off campus.
