Langley, B.C. – Beer Canada has established a new award for students in the Brewing and Brewery Operations Diploma program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU).

The $1,000 award will be presented to the top-performing student entering their final year.

“Beer Canada’s strategy is to unify the brewing community,” says Luke Harford, president. “We are thrilled to announce that we now support three separate student awards at each post-secondary education brewing program available in Canada.”

Beer Canada also supports student awards for brewing programs at Olds College in Alberta and Niagara College.

KPU’s Brewing and Brewery Operations diploma program began in 2014 and is the only diploma of its kind in B.C. For more information, visit kpu.ca/brew.
