Job Description:
We are seeking a Brewer to assist in the day-to-day brewing operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high quality craft beer and possess the drive to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with carrying out daily production at the brewery
Operate brewing equipment and related control systems
Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
Ensure proper operating, cleaning, and preventative maintenance procedures
Maintain a flexible schedule including the ability to work evenings and weekends
Support the Head Brewer and all brewery staff to deliver exceptional products and customer experience
Develop and learn all aspects of brewing techniques, Five Roads' recipes, brewing and fermentation practices, cellaring, and accommodating production demands
Assist with packaging and brew schedules and become proficient in all related aspects while continually building knowledge and assisting with new research and development
Be committed to the Five Roads Brewing Co. brand and company culture
Help build a productive team environment with all staff members
Other duties as required, such as:
Events, beer festivals, and external activities/relations in the community
Support with marketing Initiatives and branding exercises
Beer and stock deliveries to outside agencies if needed
Support with FOH training and Staff development as needed
Experience & Skills:
2+ years industry experience
Formal brewing education an asset
Forklift experience an asset but not required
Pay Range: $42,000
