Important Information
We welcome all to attend Connecting Minds 2025. However, as this is a conference highlighting undergraduate research, you must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible to present at Connecting Minds:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at a university or college, and/or
- Completed the research submitted for the conference while enrolled as an undergraduate student
Connecting Minds provides two distinct presentation mediums: Oral and Poster Presentations.
Oral Presentations are 15 minutes long, with an additional 5 minutes for Q&A. All rooms are equipped with data projectors. Connecting Minds will host a total of 24 oral presentations throughout the two-day event. In order to qualify for an oral presentation, submissions must be completed and of an empirical nature.
Poster Presentations will be held throughout the two day event at designated locations. Poster space is limited to a 4x4, square foot area, so please print your posters accordingly. Unfortunately, no extra space can be made available for posters which do not conform to the required measurements.

Connecting Minds reserves the right to assign presentation mediums at their discretion. We will do our best to accommodate your preference, however, we may be required to assign mediums in order to better suit the schedule. Presenters will be notified of their presentation medium once submissions have been processed.
Registration
Presenters
- January 31st, 2025: Abstract (200 words maximum) submission begins
- April 25th, 2025: Last day to submit an abstract is April 25th, 2025 at 11:59pm (PST)
- May 19th, 2025: Registration payment must be received from conference presenters by 11:59PM PST May 19th, 2025, to secure your presentation space
Please note. The selection committee will notify presenters via email regarding their acceptance within two weeks of submission.
Other Attendees
- May 29th, 2025: Registration for other attendees (non-presenters) closes on May 29th, 2025 at 11:59pm (PST)
Please note. Depending on seating availability, registration for Connecting Minds 2025 may be still available during the event, but previous events have sold out early.
Payment
Payments will be through Eventbrite.
- January 31st, 2025 - April 24th, 2025: Early-bird pricing (Students $49 / Non-students $59). Payment must be made by April 24th at 11:59pm (PST) for early bird pricing.
- April 25th, 2025 - May 29th, 2025: Regular pricing (Students $59 / Non-students $69)
- May 29th, 2025: Online registration closes
If presenting, payments must be made by May 19th, 2025 at 11:59pm (PST) to secure your presentation space. Note: Dependent on seating availability, individuals MAY still be able to register for Connecting Minds 2025 on the day of the event. Please note that previous CM events have sold out early!
