What is your favourite part of your work? The variety of the day to day work and the people I work with.

How do you like to unwind/handle stress? To truly unwind, I like to get away and unplug. No TV, no cell phone, no electronics.  Day to day stress, don’t dwell on the day, focus on what’s in front of you at the moment… making dinner, family, or time alone with my writing.

Who is the most famous person you've ever met? Brooke Nevin from CSI and Breakout Kings.

If you had a time machine and could have lunch with anyone living or dead, who would it be? Johnny Depp or Stephen King

Where does your inspiration come from? Triumph over adversity.

Where do you see yourself in one, five or 10 years? Hard to say, a lot can happen in year.  10 years, I see myself retired (really early from KPU), living somewhere warm, living off my writing

What are you most proud of? My daughters.  Their strength and ability to overcome and surprise every day.

Greatest advice for life? Don’t take life too seriously and find a way to make a living through your passion.

Favourite KPU moment? All the moments that make me realize how much of a community KPU is; reconnecting with people I haven’t’ talked to for a long time or seeing current co-workers that you haven’t seen all summer.  The people moments… those are my favorite.

What's the last book you read? I’m currently in middle of about 5

What's currently on your iPod? Don’t have one, I still listen to the radio.
