Kabeer Muhammad, a faculty member of the KPU Economics Department, Melville School of Business. He has held adjunct faculty position at Vancouver Island University (VIU) and German University of Technology in Oman. Prior to joining KPU, he also served at the State Bank of Pakistan (Central Bank) as a senior joint director in the research department.

In his current position, Kabeer teaches courses of Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Money and Banking, Business Economics, Economics of Sustainability Policy. His research focus is South Asian economic development, including the work on economic causes and consequences of integrating the region, public economics, labor economics, policy evaluation, migration and political economy. He is member of the Canadian and American Economic Associations.

He completed his Master Research and PhD degrees in economics from Université Paris-Dauphine in Paris, France. He also holds a MSc. (Economics) from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and MBA from University of the Punjab.
