Financial Services Procedures during the Canada Post Strike

Accounts Payable

Accounts Payable will continue with weekly processing of invoices received for payment. Cheques will be available for pick up at the Financial Services Office, temporarily  located at the Room 1645 ( near mailroom/Stair7) Langley campus, 20901 Langley Bypass, from 9:30 to 3:30 weekdays between December 3^rd and December 20^th   2024. The campus is closed from December 21^st, 2024 to January 1^st, 2025:

1. Vendors can pick up cheques upon presentation of proper identification of the person previously communicated to Accounts Payable. 
2. Vendors can arrange for courier pick-up of cheques at their own expense, and kindly advise Accounts Payable via email below

We urge our vendors to use Electronic Funds Transfer to receive payments for general efficiency and especially to mitigate risks like postal strikes. Kindly email Accounts Payable for a form.

Accounts Receivable

Accounts Receivable will only accept online payments:

1. On-line through mykwantlen.ca
2. On-line or Telephone Banking
3. Wire Transfer(International Students only)
