Stephen Dooley

Stephen Dooley, Director, The CIR:CLE

Stephen Dooley has been teaching in the Sociology Department at Kwantlen for the past 16 years and more recently, joined the Department of Criminology.

Stephen is the Director of The CIR:CLE, a position he has held since 2004. He has been involved in a number of community-based research projects and has a well-established track record in engaging in the local community and working alongside community partners. Stephen is co-chair of the City of Surrey’s Social Planning Committee, a board member of Pacific Community Resources Society (PCRS), and a member of Vibrant Surrey.

Ross Laird, Co-Director, The CIR:CLE

Ross Laird is a teacher, writer, consultant and creative artist. As Co-Director of The CIR:CLE, Ross' experience and knowledge helps guide the centre to success.

Ross has taught in counselling, psychology, interdisciplinary expressive arts and creative writing, and has two published books and a number of essays to his name. Laird is also a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
