- Welders must have their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
- Safety glasses
- Gauntlet-style leather welding gloves
- CSA-approved leather steel/composite toe work boots
- Non-synthetic clothing with long sleeves
- Welding helmet
- No PPE will be provided. Anyone without PPE will be refused entry to the Welding Shop.

- MiG pliers or similar
- Wire brush
- Chipping hammer
- No hand tools will be provided. Anyone without appropriate hand tools will be refused entry to the Welding Shop.

- Welders must have prior welding experience. Anyone without experience will be refused entry to the Welding Shop.
- Welders must show proof of training, certification, or qualification. Anyone without proof of training, certification, or qualification will be refused entry to the Welding Shop.
- This is not an introductory welding course. This is an upgrading course for the ASME or CWB test for current welders with experience only.
- This course is non-refundable and non-transferable after registration – NO exceptions.
