DUNIS Africa → KPU Articulation Pathway
Start your degree at DUNIS Africa and complete your bachelor’s degree at KPU
Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) and DUNIS Africa have established an articulation pathway that allows students enrolled in DUNIS’s Business Administration and Political Science programs to complete their first and second year courses at DUNIS and then ladder into KPU to finish a Canadian bachelor’s degree.
Through this collaboration, eligible students who meet KPU’s admission requirements may transfer a number of credits toward KPU’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs or the Bachelor of Arts, Major in Political Science. Students may also choose to apply to other undergraduate programs at KPU; however, the amount and applicability of transfer credit will vary depending on the program selected. KPU’s advising and international admissions teams can support students in understanding how their completed coursework will apply toward other pathways. This articulation provides a smooth transition into upper-year study at KPU, offering an efficient route to earning an internationally recognized credential.
Student Pathway
KPU has developed detailed transfer-credit mappings for the DUNIS Africa’s Business Administration and Political Science programs. These pathways outline how students may apply their completed coursework toward a KPU degree.
Please note: Program requirements at both institutions may change through regular curriculum review cycles. For the most accurate information, students should consult KPU International Admissions.
Bachelor of Business Administration Pathway
DUNIS graduates may receive transfer credit toward the following KPU BBA programs:
| KPU BBA Major | Maximum Transfer Credits from DUNIS Africa |
|---|---|
| Accounting | Up to 48 |
| Entrepreneurship | Up to 66 |
| Human Resources Management | Up to 60 |
| Marketing Management | Up to 69 |
Transfer credit is based on successful completion of mapped DUNIS coursework and meeting all KPU admission requirements. Students must also satisfy KPU’s program-specific requirements and all graduation requirements outlined in the University Calendar and AC14 Credential Framework.
Bachelor of Arts Pathway – Political Science
Graduates of the DUNIS Africa Bachelor of Political Science program may receive:
| KPU BA Major | Maximum Transfer Credits from DUNIS Africa |
|---|---|
| BA Major in Political Science | Up to 72 |
As per KPU Policy AC14, a baccalaureate degree requires a minimum of 120 credits, and institutional residency normally requires that at least 25% of credits be completed at KPU. The BA typically requires 60 KPU credits, unless an approved exemption is granted.
Admission Requirements
Students applying for admission to KPU are required to submit an admission application form and the applicable application fee. Students are subject to all KPU admission requirements. If you are a DUNIS Africa student with questions, please contact International Future Student.
Fees
DUNIS Africa graduates admitted to a KPU program are subject to standard fees as outlined in KPU policy and Calendar.
