IT Maintenance Graphic

The IT Department typically performs required server maintenance on weekends from 6:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight. 

Maintenance operations may take place at other times based on the need.

Every effort is made to ensure that maintenance operations are as short as possible and have the minimum impact.

Banner Maintenance

  • Admin Pages (Banner 9)
  • Banner 9 apps (Self-Service, Employee Dashboard, etc.)
  • Online Self-Service (my.kpu.ca)
  • Integration to and from Banner (Elevate, Degree Works, etc.)
  • FAST (Finance, WebReq, PCARD, etc.)
  • Other Online Self-Services (Adobe CC Consent, Submit SIN, View Personalized Booklist, KPU Card Request)

  • Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)

File System Maintenance

  • Employee access to SSHFS shared folders will be unavailable
