Kwantlen Student Association Event Re-located

METRO VANCOUVER, BC - (September 7, 2011) - Kwantlen Polytechnic University is advising students that the annual Cram Jam event organized by the Kwantlen Student Association (KSA) has not received the approvals required from the City of Surrey that would enable the event to take place on the Surrey campus.

However, a KSA representative has notified the university administration that the event will now take place at an off-site location - Royal King Palace at 8158 128 Street, Surrey, on Thursday, September 8 beginning at 3:00 p.m.

The University wishes to inform students, staff and parents and the community that this off-campus event is not a university sanctioned event.

Kwantlen Polytechnic University has been serving the Metro Vancouver region for 30 years, and has opened doors to success for more than 200,000 people. Four campuses—Richmond, Surrey, Cloverdale and Langley—offer a comprehensive range of sought-after programs, including business, liberal arts and science, design, health, trades and technology, apprenticeships, horticulture, and academic and career advancement. Over 17,000 students annually have a choice from over 135 programs, including bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees, diplomas, certificates and citations.
