Kwantlen Polytechnic University connects top psychologists and students at Connecting Minds Conference

Metro Vancouver, BC – (March 12, 2012) – It's where some of North America's top psychology students and prominent psychologists connect. They come to present undergraduate student research papers and hear highly esteemed keynote speakers, and this May, they'll do it all over again at Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Connecting Minds Conference.

Now in its fifth year, Connecting Minds has become the farthest reaching undergraduate psychology conference in North America, bringing students from across Canada, the US and overseas together. This year, the two-day conference features a keynote address presented by renowned psychologist Dr. Elizabeth Loftus.

Dr. Loftus is considered by many to be one of the most influential psychologists in the world. In addition to her notable work in cognitive psychology, Dr. Loftus has changed the face of forensic psychology, criminology and law. As a star witness in the O.J. Simpson trials and a leading expert in eyewitness testimony, Dr. Loftus' name resounds in courtrooms and classrooms alike.

Connecting Minds will be held on May 18 & 19, 2012 at the Richmond Kwantlen Campus and is open to all those interested in the field of psychology or undergraduate research. For more information, visit www.connectingminds.ca.
