Careers in Sociology Event

KPU's Career Services hosted their first Careers in Sociology event, at the Surrey Conference Centre on June 10th.  Students had a chance to engage in discussion with professionals about their chosen career paths--Emergency Planning, Program Management, Behavioural Intervention, and Career Counselling--to name a few.  Christian Saint Cyr presented an overview of the BC labour market and described future employment prospects for these community-related careers.  It was a great opportunity for students to learn about potential careers they may have not considered before.
