Using the city as a classroom, students will explore concepts of community and place. Students will develop their ideas about how to improve and/or make public places for Newton's diverse communities, as part of the Newton Sustainability in Action Plan. Class discussions, presentations and projects in Fir 232. 6 seats reserved for Anthropology students, 6 seats reserved for Policy Studies students, and 6 seats reserved for Geography students. Reserves wil l not be lifted.
